The Master of Divinity at Welch College Divinity School offers “a rigorous theological preparation for ministry, service, and life from a Reformed Arminian perspective.” As such, the M.Div. is designed for college graduates who desire to build on their biblical and theological training in order to be more fully equipped to lead their family, church, and community. The M.Div. at Welch College maintains a dual emphasis on vibrant ministry preparation and rigorous theological training that is grounded in the Holy Scriptures and presented from a Reformed Arminian perspective.
The Welch Divinity School M.Div. degree totals 85 credit hours. The core requirements of the M.Div. degree consists of 30 credit hours from the MA in Theology and Ministry from the School of Theology, 25 credit hours from the undergraduate ministry curriculum adapted to the graduate level, and 30 credit hours of newly developed graduate courses.
