Welch and Union really focus on ministering to the full person both their body, though healthcare, and their soul in the way you treat them and how you present Jesus to them in their actions. I chose Welch College not just for my education, but for my future. Choosing Welch is a decision I will never regret.
I have always wanted a career in which I could impact peoples lives, and nursing will allow me to do this. At Welch, we are prepared academically for any challenges we may face but we are also prepared spiritually. The professors invest in our lives.
Local hospitals and clinics are looking for students to join their teams who have attended from Welch College. While in school, I received multiple job offers.
At Welch College, we believe that Christians in scientific and medical professions have a responsibility not only to understand emerging technologies but also to investigate the moral and ethical implications of scientific advancements. In our biology, pre-med, and nursing programs, we honor God’s creation by learning all we can about it, while utilizing best practices in the classroom to teach you all we can about biology, we also look at it from a biblical perspective. Why a biblical approach you may ask? To us, the best scientific thinkers also have a strong moral, ethical and faith foundation against which to measure their knowledge. In your classes, you will gain in-depth exposure to the biological, chemical, physical and mathematical sciences.
