Free Will Baptist Scholarships

Come Experience the Welch Difference!

Your college choice is an important decision—we’ll be with you every step of the way!

If you decide to make Welch your home away from home, you will find that our Christian community is the perfect place to help you with your future ministry or career.

But let’s face it—college is expensive. Because we know this is the case, we have scholarships for Free Will Baptist students who desire to be an on-campus, traditional student. Below are some of the big ones, but be sure to speak with your admissions counselor to discover more scholarship opportunities.

$1,000 - ETEAM Scholarship

You will receive a $1,000 scholarship for every year you participate in ETEAM!

So, if you are on an ETEAM for your sophomore, junior, and senior year of high school, that means you’ve just earned a $3,000 scholarship! But, keep in mind, this scholarship cannot be used up during your freshman year of college—because you earned it over 3 years, you’ll need to spend it over 3 years.

(And, yes, this scholarship can be stacked on all other scholarships including the Truth & Peace and CTS/YET scholarships.

$1,000 - CTS/YET Scholarship

So as an example, if you are a Category D CTS winner for your sophomore and junior year of high school, and then you are selected for YET as a high school senior, that means you’ve just earned $3,000!

But, keep in mind, this scholarship cannot be used up during your freshman year of college—because you earned it over 3 years, you’ll need to spend it over 3 years. (And, yes, this scholarship can be stacked on all other scholarships including the Truth & Peace scholarship.)
