Admissions Requirements

A completed application packet including the following:
- Application
- References
- Transcripts—high school/college (transfer applicants are required to have college transcripts translated into English by an official credential evaluation service)
- Standardized Test score (ACT/SAT/CLT)
- Official TOFEL scores
Form I-20
- Financial Affidavit/Proof of financial ability indicating you have sufficient funds to pay for one year’s education. A financial sponsor may be obtained to help with the cost. A bank statement must accompany the affidavit showing sufficient funds in the bank.
- Medical forms and insurance
- Signed Offer of Admission, with payment of $250 enrollment deposit
- Passport/Photo required

If a transfer applicant, we can assist with the transfer process with SEVIS following your acceptance to Welch College.

Financial Aid

Welch offers a special $3000 scholarship for international students! This is a yearly scholarship given to all international Welch students. There is no application required for this scholarship.
While FAFSA is not available for international students, Welch offers a special application that qualifies a student for institutional aid. We work closely with each applicant to provide a strong aid package based on his or her financial circumstances.
The international financial aid application can be found here. We ask that every international student fill out this application to receive funds, specifically from our Welch Grant. Applicants must be accepted to complete a financial aid application.
