Welch College Rejoice! Ministry Team Announces Summer Tour
GALLATIN, TN—The summer tour of Welch College’s Rejoice! Ministry Team will begin Sunday, June 1, according to Dr. Todd Parrish, Vice President for Institutional Advancement. The eleven-member vocal ensemble will hold services in twelve churches in six states during their four-week tour. The group will also attend Free Will Baptist state meetings in North Carolina, Virginia, and Ohio.
The team will provide a special concert at The Veranda Ministries in Gallatin, Tennessee. The Veranda is a faith-based ministry that provides special programs to families caring for loved ones living with dementia and other debilitating medical issues.
“The summer tour’s program will feature hymns, gospel songs, and modern worship arrangements designed to evangelize, edify, and encourage,” Parrish said. The members of the 2025 Rejoice! Ministry Team are Foster Beck, Malena Campis, Elly Crabtree, Marc Edgmon, Reilly Holloman, Camden Lewis, Cheyenne Lewis, Abby Long, Abigail McAffee, Brook Proctor, Jacob Robertson, and Rachael Wilkerson.
“The Scriptures declare that psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs are God’s means for us to speak to ourselves as we sing and make melody in our hearts to the Lord,” Parrish said. “Our prayer is that this team will use their voices to lead people into worship and that God will bless and use them as they minister.”
