January 23, 2014. The Mid-Continent full-court pressure was too much for the Flames as they fell to the visiting Cougars, 87-64. It didn’t help that the Flames were only able to shoot 38 from the free throw line.
Despite the lopsided loss, Lim Chol and Tim Hutchinson were able to record double-doubles on the night. Chol finished with 23 points and 14 rebounds while Hutchinson scored 11 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. David Reeves also scored in double figures for Welch with 14 points.
The Flames are on the road Saturday to play at Boyce College.
