A place for parents and families to relax and reconnect before saying goodbye to your student.
We are so excited to have you on-campus for Truth & Peace on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. We know this day can be a long, hot day! In preparation for your arrival, we would like to invite you to come and stay a while at the Student Activities Center. We’re calling this space the Truth & Peace Parent Drop-in.
So that we can be prepared to host and serve you, we ask that you indicate your plans at the Dinner Check-in button (whether you plan to stay for dinner or not).
- plenty of space for you to relax in the AC.
- complimentary bottled waters on ice.
- access to West End from 1:00–4:00 p.m. (West Ends sells reasonably-priced coffee, snacks, and bottled drinks).
- space for the kids to run around if you have small children traveling with you. Also, some of our Welch students will be present to hang out with your older children.
- complimentary picnic-style dinner (BBQ chicken sandwiches, burgers, and sides) at 6:15Â p.m. on the Quad. Because of limited space in Celorio Hall, this is not a sit-down meal. You are welcome to eat in the gymnasium, outside on the Quad, or anywhere on campus, you can find a spot!
Feel free to float in and out as often as you would like.
